AROUND TOWN

Past President Receives Hanover Park Award

Congratulations to Rick Roberts! Rick received the Service to Youth Award at the Village of Hanover Park 50th Anniversary Gala celebration in February. Rick received this award for his six years of service to the Hurricanes' Football Program for his positive presence and influence with the youth of Hanover Park. His leadership brings a special meaning to compassion and teamwork in our town. We are very proud of Rick and for what he has done for the Hurricane Program. The award was well-deserved.

Theft on the Sports Complex Grounds

Sometime during the week of January 14th, Dan Agosta's black trailer and the Hurricanes' merchandise trailer were broken into on the sports complex grounds. As far as we can tell, no items were stolen from the merchandise trailer, but three ATVs were stolen out of Dan's black trailer. There is also damage to both trailers due to the break in.

Dan is offering a reward for information leading to the return of the vehicles. If you saw anything or have information regarding this incident, please contact Dan at 847-652-6200.

Please keep Jetta Beckman and her family and Wendy Johnson and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Both girls, former cheer coaches, are in the hospital with life debilitating conditions.
